£10 per pair. These are hot smoked haddock, heads off and gutted but otherwise left whole. Always sold in pairs tied with string and weighing 400-600g per pair. They have deep golden skin and soft pale gold flesh with a more delicate flavour than cold smoked haddock. In their native Scotland they are a favourite breakfast or supper dish. To serve, split them open and grill gently with plenty of butter and lemon juice. They make a delicious pate.
