First of The Season
Sprats - first of the season from Poole, £4.84 per kg. Sprats are very small members of the Herring family. They are migratory fish moving in large shoals around our coast in late summer. To enjoy these diminutive little shards of silver simply frazzle them in a very hot pan or under a fierce grill then all they need is salt, pepper and a squeeze of lemon.
Last of The Season
This week is the final week that Wild Sea Trout will be available. If you haven't tried this pale pink fleshed, delicate, mild flavoured fish take this opportunity to do so. Many think it is even nicer than wild salmon. We have a Special Offer of whole or fillets @ £13.80 per kg (was £17.20 at the start of the season). The whole fish are between 1.5-2kg.
